Alone and desolate in a forest, a boy wanders aimlessly through a large and massive forest. Inspired by a newspaper report, "Raiz em Extinção" ('endangered root') portrays the growth of the protagonist on his journey of discovery about the space in which he lives and his past. In the process, he discovers why he has such a strong connection with this land.
